The problem for me is the shirt, I don't fancy pink with that outfit. Medium blue would be better, and french cuffs seem a bit formal. I'm not so sure about the trousers, the balance is not that good.
And the jacket could need some steam...

Pants either hiked up too high or hemmed too short. With a leg opening that wide, the hem needs to make contact with the shoes. It can't be floating out in space like that.

Rest assured, the collar points tuck safely under the lapels when jacket is buttoned.

I wore my rubber-soled NSTs today in anticipation of the walk from the car to my kids' camp at the end of half-mile trail. I did not anticipate a freshly mown field with sprinklers on...

    Argh!

Just imo, your fits would be great if you slimed your trousers.

This looks much better to me. Nicely done. I think a solid navy tie would look awesome with that combination, even though the brown looks good.

Oops, I clicked a thumbs up on this comment by mistake. Golly! I think HF's trouser cuts are perfect--always natty and always comfortable.

With the austere blue and white shirt/coat/PS "frame", the star of the show is this tie. Perfectly fine for summer time. It's fun.

No problem, I prefer a more streamlined look. I think this would flatter HF's physique. Two different styles, nothing wrong with that.

Honestly I think HF's trousers are pretty slimmed in this last fit anyway.

Some odd buckling at the waist on your left side, but if it actually looks like your right side, then that's nice.

    Thanks for the comments.

I did try out a cream shirt a couple of years ago (from our then mutual bespoke maker in the UK, made with Acorn's bamboo shirting), but while I can appreciate a cream shirt on others, I found that I didn't like it on myself.

Btw, I'm fairly certain that not being a fan of pencil stripe shirts is some kind of sin, if only a minor one ;-)
