You got a hat! I think it suits you well (tho' looking straighter on to camera will let us judge how the the crown height works on you for sure). The cream/yellowish colour, plus the brown ribbon, keeps it more on the casual end of the spectrum to me, so you'll probably find that it works best with casual looks, with odd jacket/trouser looks being about as formal as you'll want to go. It will also be smashing with smart tie-less fits. Nice one!

To my fellow member of the AWESOME BALDNESS CLUB, very dapper as always! Stitches, very nice suit/shirt/tie combo! SCbrown, I think a different shirt would have helped. More sucky pics of today's fit. Suit is a medium blue. Tie is a blue/black/white check. Shirt is a micro blue/gray check. Suit PRL Shoes Frattelli Rossetti [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Thanks, HF. When I look at the mirror I think the crown height is fine, though I believe a little lower would perhaps be optimal; but I couldn't find any. I like to wear it quite low on my head, so perhaps that compensates. This is actually my second Panama, I got a cheaper one a while ago just to check how I felt wearing one; I liked it and decided to get something a bit nicer. Odd jacket and trousers is about as formal as I like to dress, so it should be fine!

BTW, I remember you were looking for that tie quite a while ago, glad you finally found it [IMG]

thanks, HF! im very happy with my custom suit from tiberias. i think it fits me very well.

i really like the colors and items. maybe the pants/jacket could use a hair more contrast?

Great look imo. You are READY for that meeting, and your battle armor is well put together.
My friend the tiemaker in Milan tells me that "The blue/ green combinations now are strong in Italy ".

Ermenegildo Zegna is often shown in the classic-killer combination of Navy Blazer/Charcoal Slacks/Killer Accessories.
That tells you something right there, imo.

A simple white pocket square is all one needs to bring the Navy Blazer to the same level as a suit.

@ Mica Thank you . I do try to keep in reasonable shape. It takes a good deal more effort in my 50s than it did in my 30s or even early to mid 40s....

@chocsosa - You make "simple" look good!

DC, not counting the hat, this is the best fit you've shown using those pants and loafers.
