but but but but but the tie is Kiton. I thought they could do no wrong. Isn't this the place where people judge you based entirely on the brand you are wearing? However, I do want an acceptable orange tie at some point. Probably something solid, yeah?

The SC is Australian wool woven by...well...the end all be all of everything Korean: Samsung. Their assets total about 1/4 of South Korea's GDP. The maker was a new tailor I tried out. I will not be returning to him (both this and the jacket from yesterday are being sent to my very awesome alterations tailor to get a tad lengthened and get open quarters as per ianiceman's suggestion). Also perhaps let out a bit...though it feels fantastic as far as freedom of movement (so the tailor technically didn't suck), I just don't like jackets to be that slimming. Also he included bone buttons on one jacket and plastic for that jacket...no idea why, but I'm getting them replaced, I think, with MoP (as inspired by caustic's buttons)

    ^^ orange is a hard color. ^^

I have an orange neat i like and a very casual cotton plaid. They are both softer oranges and have white in them to further soften them. Just my opinion, im sure others disagree.

    :)

    Surprisingly high these days.

    Totally agree on this.

Also agree on the open quarters discussion earlier. Nothing crazy, but some slightly more open quarters would do wonders. Part of this could be caused by the high buttoning point, though.

Not that I'll necessary stop wearing it if otherwise (though I do have a very hard time tying the knot), but still no love with the different textures of the tie apparent?

^^ if you like it, rock it. fyi, i sold an orange stripe kiton through LUXESWAP not too long ago. I iliked the tie and wore it a few times, and then decided to pass it on. Food for thought.

I tried to buy one. I just missed out, he had sold out as i placed my order. :(

Oh man, I can only imagine trying to wear a sweater in Dubai. The other day it was 78 degrees in the middle of the night in winter!

Nice fit. But yea, opening the quarters would make your jackets look a lot better.

This now also applies to Tirailleur. I am in bed so I won't explain why so you'll have to use your imaginations (about my reasons for including him, not about me in bed).

This is entirely an experiment with the afor mentioned green/navy striped shirt. I call this my DerekS fit since it was partially inspired by his suggestion of a solid navy tie. I still don't know if it makes this shirt work though.

Spoo set it up, and I either tapped it into the goal or completely ruined it. History will be my judge.

I read the thread backwards - just saw Spoo's 'right-click save-as' comment. Nice double team lol
