The hat as is suits him perfectly. If he so desired he could choose a hat crown that was taller, and it would still be immaculate. It should NOT be any fraction shorter than it is now.

Spoo, i know you aren't a fan of OCBD's but with everything else in the outfit being so "country" you don't think an OCBD would look better?

I know the shirt has a pattern but the collar itself is still very "city."

That's a very American take on a very British concept ...

Hmm didn't realise the photo quality/light was so poor, especially in the overcoat picture. Too many Lagavulins!

A collection of some vintage things I put together. I know i'll get hate for the laces but I think they go good with the playfulness of everything.

BB Vintage -3 roll 2 -3 piece suit
    Ike Bahar shirt
    BB makers Vintage tie
    Unknown silk pocket square
    Vintage longwing kind of shoes
    Vintage hand painted cufflinks
    Old school seiko 5 automatic

Thanks my friend, you did say it was creased from work all day, so i ignored that part, and enjoyed your tie colour and pattern and width / good tie knot / collar shape, spread and tightness (how it sits on your neck) / experimentation with puffed PS
Thats why i said i liked your outfit(s) oh and the shirt and ti on the other outfit is really nice.So is the PS TBH.

Jacket seems a bit short (and I don't know what to wear with a velvet jacket, but I'm pretty sure it isn't cotton pants). French cuffs are probably too formal with everything else. And burn the socks (but I also dislike "fun" socks, so others here may be fans)

    Excellent outfit Rob.
Nitpick: can the collar points not be ironed flat?

This suit is now wearable after being tailored, albeit still a bit on the tight side at the hips; tailor did what he could. Hopefully I'll resume weight loss.

This really annoys me, you've made a great effort in dressing well in what seems like a nice restaurant serving good food and you've got some tossers in the background wearing baseball caps indoors. Why do restauranteurs allow this? I was happy in Claridges this morn when some guest came down with hats and were told to take them off.

My grandfather always told me it was rude not to remove hats at the dinner table.
