Imo a top coat worn over a shirt is a bad look.
Why not put on a sweater, the suit jacket or a SC?

Much improved look from earlier posts IMO. Although I might have gone with a patterned shirt.

    Fantastic :)

I am off to Saint Petersburg in early Feb. Expecting temps of -20 :/

    I definitely need an Ushanka....

Jacket might look tight due to the pose, but it's actually on the loose side. Completely unstructured.

RDiaz, who makes the SC? I like the unstructured look.

A local brand called Mirto. Got it on great discount. The fabric is something I had never heard about before, it says "lana italiana by Bottoli" and is undyed.

Shirt shoulders are great. I don't even feel like I'm wearing a jacket at all. I'd have liked the jacket better if it had padded lapels and higher armholes, but the lack of any canvas is something different and welcome, too.

Yeah, well... I suppose it depends on what you like. The hat is actually quite versatile because you can also put it down for a more low-key look. I added 2 more pics to the original post. Have a look - maybe you'll like it more :)

It looks great. My shoulders seem to not have much luck when it comes to off the rack SCs but unstructured ones just seem to look better on me. I am going to see if Mirto is available anywhere online. Thanks!

-20C is nothing for that hat! I wore it in such temps and was very comfy! The only problem is that the fur is so thick that when you put the "ears" down, you really don't hear a lot :p

Oh I didn't say I didn't like it. It is different and in the right circumstances would look very cool.

The jacket was available at the website of the department store I bought it at (and they ship internationally up to 3 kg, I guess a jacket is within those limits) but it looks like it's not there anymore... there's another one which I think is their unstructured model too, but I'm not sure as I didn't see it at the brick and mortar store.

Vince you are looking really good in this outfit, your best by far in my opinion.
With the collar you are wearing, a Four in Hand knot would probably fit better into the tie space.
