    Quick post to restore bullets:

    • Almost all of the time, do edges out, like this example.
    • All of the time, fold it a bit sloppy, like this example.
    • Unlike a stuffed hanky or square, show as little as you can...just peek over the pocket. You have too much.
    • The hanky should always sit at an angle to the pocket. While I slope mine downward away from center, don't do as I do. Most of you will look better if you slope it upward away from center.
    • The most patrician plain fold is the single iceberg triangle, but it is very easy to do this wrong. Avoid it.
    •

As for "cultivating" an easy-going air, sounds too Pitti to me. Instead, spend the five minutes it takes to nail your look down when you start the day, but then leave it alone.

It will become easy-going soon enough.

Go ahead and tell me that the tie and PS are too matchy.

Perhaps it's just my innate grouchiness, but I can't help but notice a recent upsurge in the number of people requoting their "thumbs-ups" to say little more than "thank you". For me, one of the best aspects of introducing the thumbs-up system was that it kept a lot of this pleasantly ego-boosting but essentially empty feedback, but moved it out of the main content of the thread.

I would suggest that all SF WAYWRN posters can take it as read that we're both a) vain enough to check back on who's liked our outfits, and b) pleasant enough people to be grateful for the positive feedback.

If there's a specific point of discussion or active follow--up to some of the feedback then of course it's perfectly sensible to discuss it in the main thread, but if it's just a thank you, I feel it makes the real thread content - the pics & more nuanced feedback - more spread out.

Of course, it's up to each individual to decide how they use the various features of the board; I'm just expressing my own opinion on the matter.

    Elegantly put, HF.

My way only takes 4 mins 50 because of the lack of pocket square geometry.

But don't mind me. What I'm wearing today is threatening to tip from deshabille to derelique.

Your de-bulletting has me mulling over a potential new thread.

This suit is all kinds of awesome. I love the colour, the texture, and the man-sized lapels. Well done.

I rarely post anything of value these days but am happy to inspire others to do so.

Fuck you for being so cool! :) No, but seriously, that is a fucking kick-ass suit! The tie matches the lapel width superbly! (Makes me want to buy a brown suit!)

I don't know if it's a rule per se, but I do this too. Rolled edges have a nice characteristic to them, machine stitched are worth hiding.

Not feeling todays ensemble. I should have used a colored tie. Also, not sure this cardigan goes with it. Oh well, experiments are meant to fail.

I'll judge this based on your new thread and the number of installments it requires.
