Rob - what makes the knot hard to tie? Maybe i am trivializing the situation, but i feel a knot should be one of the easiest things to master.

I've been here for only a year and a bit, but one thing i've noticed is that summer/spring is the low point of WAYWRN ... and i think you will note the same in your review of Vox's digest. WAYWRN really picks up in the fall when folks can experiment with layering. Heavier weight fabrics also tend to be look better.

I totally expect WAYWRN to have better fits in the fall/winter. Will be surprised if that doesnt happen.

I would have boiled in Manhattan in that. I like it, though, very Brooksy, but I am not a fran of the horz. stripe tie.

I wasn't to begin with, but have since accepted it.

And good eye. Suit is a BB sack, custom made for some other guy in '76 who happened to have the same measurements as I. Tie is also Brooks.

How old is that BB suit? The buttonhole finishing looks absolutely superb, and unlike anything you'd see on anything except perhaps the Greenfield GF line in modern Brooks.

Nope - MG double faced cashmere, hand tailored.

Also, are you seven feet tall? LOL.

Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

Like if you wore just the pants with a shirt and loafers, I could see it. Just a thought.

Holdfast (ironically) is pretty Schitzo with his combo's, but there's generally some sort of idea i can pick up on there...

Diggin' the lining, too. Tie knots, well, they can be just tie knots, but they can also be a beautiful thing...
