The frame says Yves Saint Laurent

    130 YSL 2096 T31

That should be some sort of serial.

edited: oh geez that's huge. I'll try to learn how to shrink pics and try again.

Hello Marc, how is doing? Did you make some purchase recently? Nice outfit on the pic. Next to the 2 guys (look at the collars of their shirts...) you look like the President of the USA . Just an advice = cut your nails if you don't wanna be taken for a vampire.

Please go outside and give this tie to an homeless...
    Really quite a priceless comment.
I like helping people . In this case it will help 2 people, one guy will get rid of an horrible tie and the other guy could use it for an interview and hang himself once he failed the interview because of the tie .

Ouch. I apologize for offending you, but I happen to like ties that are bright and heavily patterned at times. I don't feel that every tie must be repp and/or simple patterned. Constructive criticism is appreciated and sharing different opinions is also appreciated, but I don't think that comments like that are gentlemanly at all. Cheers, Mike

I wonder if it is a Versace? Although I recall Gianfranco Ferre also did ties in that type of pattern.
