Poked around a bit can't seem to find it, which is frustrating because I know I've seen it before. Older Cantarelli? Older Belvest? Help me out brothers. [IMG] Lardini? EDIT: See? I knew I'd seen it before. Because I've SOLD it before. Probably from the same dude I got this jacket from. I still maintain it's decent quality (tons of overstitch/"handwork", decent silhouette, etc), but we couldn't figure out who made it last time, so I won't belabor it now.

Hey I'm rethinking the Caruso claim. This doesn't look like their maker tag:

So reading some of this stuff I just must briefly comment. The fabric that went into making this was not $3000 a yard, nowhere even close to this. I do know what Super 120s is and I also know that it takes a little over 3 yards of fabric for a 2 piece suit, thus, this suit would have cost over 9 grand worth of fabric to make... purely from fabric a lone, no labor. for a few grand more you can buy fabric from Scabal that is made of Super 150s and is also woven with diamonds. So you're nowhere even close to correct there. @Koala-T stated that your suit was made of 4 different animals, as does the tag, however it actually implies that it's made of 5. Mink, Vicuna, and Chinchilla are not measured on the micron scale, Cashmere is also measured by being a staple fiber also. A staple fiber is 3 inches or longer, this means the longer the fiber the higher quality and more expensive. Thus the Super 120s label is implying that there is possibly wool involved as well. Now that fabric composition alone is absolutely crazy. Suits are not made of mink and chinchilla, that just doesn't occur, the fibers of those animals would never work in suit construction. They are not woven, they are kept long and silken because that's the nature of the fiber. Now the odds of some random Chinese tailor getting his hands on a fabric composed on any notable percentage of Vicuna is close to never fucking happening. This is a protected animal sheared once every two years, for four days only... there's a finite supply and you will see high end fabric manufacturers have it because they can afford to, some even have licensed Vicuna farms like I believe LP does. Essentially, that patch means nothing and is a load of bullshit. You were not quoted 3k on that thing because it probably cost 300 to have made for someone. Sorry. And I too went to and graduated from a school very much on par with UCSB, then graduated from another school afterwards, one of the best Fashion schools in the country. If you are going to start investing in nice clothes for whatever reasons you have stated, then I'd just stop arguing and try to absorb the knowledge here because you're getting nowhere defending this garbage, and like it's been stated, there's a great deal of people who know a great deal of information on here. Use it as a resource not a debate forum, that would be your most advantageous approach....Sorry to everyone else if this was killed already but I saw that I was mentioned and felt inclined to reply...carry on..
