Thanks guys, we had a great day and I am now happily married! I'll put some pics up later in the week when we get them back from the photographer.

Just a reminder that the sale finishes at 7pm tonight and any orders placed after that won't be despatched until Tuesday the 9th, otherwise any placed before then will go off tomorrow morning.

    Cheers
    Jason

Some good news in from Italy overnight. We should be, all going well receiving our first run of knit ties and bow-ties late next week.

Shirts are still TBA I'm afraid, apologies to everyone that is waiting for them.

Knit ties will include to begin with a navy with white dots, kelly green, orange, royal blue and chocolate brown. Bow ties 7 different designs with a good mix of patterns, checks, repps and dots, all self tie.

Yes you are right, I deliberately did a tighter weave and a more matte finished silk, because in my experience they both make the knot hold a lot better. I've had so many cheaper silk knots with big shiny, chunky weaves that need the knots tightened every hour because they slip. Doing exactly what you want is one of the good things about having your own label I guess.

Knit ties are all now live on the site HERE

We have: Chocolate Brown, Kelly Green, Navy w/ white dots, Orange & Royal Blue. As you can see they are all a nice tight weave (Navy is a bit bigger weave, easier to get the dots right).

Made in Italy, 7cm wide, 146cm long and $69.95 AUD.

And for the next week, get any 1 pair of Pantherella socks free when you buy 2 or more knit or full price ties. Just checkout as usual and I will email you to get your size/choice.

Thanks for everyone's purchases over the last day. The orange is now sold out and the navy w/ white dots only has one left not counting the one I have on hold for a member.

I have put in an email to Italy already about a re-stock before xmas and will let everyone know. All going well the orange will re-stock and i'll ad a bunch of new colours.

I put together a few looks this afternoon to a) give everyone an idea of how they knot with a four in hand (nice dimple as you can see) and b) give a few ideas of what to wear them with as well.

A reminder that the orange is now sold out and only 1 navy w/ white dots remains.

Loving the looks and thank you for the ideas. I would definitely add a pocket square too ( but know that is a personally preference thing). By god, does that orange look good. Roll on summer (in typical Melbourne style we are getting about a day a week at the moment).

Due to the popularity of the knit ties we are expanding the range asap and will have some more coming in before xmas.

We are re-stocking the orange knit tie HERE and taking pre-orders for it now. Please either PM me or email jason@henrycarter.com.au if you are interested.

We will also be adding the following
    Plain -
    Black
    Purple
    Olive green/khaki
    Dots -
    Navy with yellow dots
    Red with Navy dots

I'll put some images up later of what the likely colours of these new ones will be. All will be $69.95 AUD as per the current range
