    Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum so I hope that you'll be kind to me. :)

    I need some advice...

I bought a new trenchcoat and I really like how it looks worn unbuttoned to show my clothes underneath it and with the belt tied on the back. But when I tie a knot on the back, I'm not able to close the trenchcoat anymore unless I losen the knot a little. I know there are rules on how to wear a trenchcoat, but is it "allowed" to tie the knot on the back so tight (only if you are wearing it unbuttoned) that you aren't able to button it anymore unless you undo it. I really like the way it looks this way (unbuttoned and with a really tight knot on the back) but I dont know if it's too exagerated and considered a little ridiculous because it's so unpractical...
I'm not talking about a superbigsailorknot. Just a knot tied tighter than normal.

I hope you can help me out. :)

    Thanks very much!

    Tiziano

You evidently have not seen the Trenchcoat Back-Tie instructional video.
I can't recall the URL, but you might look for it on You Tube.

Actually I did. I watched every video related to Trenchcoats and belts. But my question is diferent. My question is that I want to tie my belt tighter and I don't know how tight is allowed. I already know how to tie it. And the many videos I found don't answer my question. And if you are sure that you know a video that explains this, I would be really grateful if you could post it, because obviously I couldn't find it.

    Thanks very much!
