The only issue mentioned so far is the rubber heel, that can be remedied by a $4 heel tap which also prolongs the overall life of the heel. It's still a pretty amazing deal considering the price of these side zips compared to the main lines imo.

just took my side zips to get topy'd - I'll post pics when I get them back on Tuesday. Cobbler also said he would nail the rubber heel tip into the sole, preventing the glue from being an issue. Basically, it's like fixing any quality issues of the shoe for $25. He's only TOPYing the main part of the sole, not the heel. Hopefully that doesnt mess with the profile of the shoe - I guess I'll see when I get em back.

Not a single person has expressed regret in buying them, even after the heel has fallen off (ok maybe one or so?), it's really not a deal breaker at all, considering the price

how are people sizing these compared to CPs?

+1 for me, 42 in CP and 43 in the side zips. Mine measure to around 12" outsole

No heel issues here after about a week of wear. Also got mine topy'd on the main portion of the sole.

The camel suit jacket has been nice and thick for the cold...good layering piece up here in Canada. Got a few compliments on it. The blue knit sweater with the over-sized sleeves does its job. Good beater and softer then I thought it be. The females dig it. Got them all marked down so I'm pretty satisfied with the haul.
