Didn't you guys check the link, it comes in a "musculine palette." That makes it totally hetero. I checked UD and they said musculine is a combination of "masculine" and "muscular" (SOOOOO not gay

). But yeah, OP, bag just looks fine. Either way, if you are comfortable wearing it, why not? Do you worry about your "baby pink" shirts making you look gay? For someone who registered in 2005, you haven't lurked very well.

I just want to weigh in to say that I hate the term "tote" in any context, but especially on its own as a noun. And OP, if you think all the responses in this thread were serious (aside from this one) you need to lurk more.

Yes, it's fine, though I agree with J that the word "tote" sounds dumb. "Manbag" sounds really dumb, too, as a word. Unfortunately, we only have so many words to use. Anyway, for some suggestions and lots of info, see this thread: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=115841

Perhaps you should review your original post again:

I'd like to facepalm the entire thread, but that's just too easy.

I seriously thought the thread title was "Gays carrying a tote bag, ok or not?" I will have to revise my answer in light of the actual topic.

If you have to ask the question, you already know the answer.

I am 6ft tall, 200 pounds rugby guy. I am not gay. I am married with a baby. I always wanted to buy a tote as i really like the design. I carry the bag on the weekends with the strap thrown over my shoulders. I am afraid to just carry the bag in my hands as i am worried it would look like a handbag. I am afraid to carry the bag to the office as i am worried how my colleagues will take to it. What do you guys think?

The Asian contingency on the forum (ones from HK/Australia) ALL carry totes. Ask them if they feel gay.
