    You're talking to clags.

He's writing a book titled "50 shades of navy"...

Any thoughts on this jacket? I have Brooks Brothers gift cards and rewards that are expiring in 2015 and having a tough time finding something to use them on.

    Have you tried it on?
I've never actually purchased anything from BB but I've noticed that you have to watch which line you are trying on as they differ noticeably. If you know what you are doing, then may I suggest this?

Tried it on today while returning a couple of sweaters and the fit is fine. The teal color is throwing me for a loop a little bit, but I think it will look good with mocha flannels. That said, I do not think I would be purchasing this if I did not have gift cards to use up as BB is not one of my favorites for jackets and suits.

Sometimes its easier to just tell the in-laws that I get most clothes at BB and Ralph Lauren than it is to start throwing names at them like Kent Wang, Howard Yount, Sam Hober, Luxire and Carmina.

I have yet to find something that I like from BB. But they have good customer service. I really want to find something that I like because I can get 15% corp discount.

Facing the same dilemma with my friends and family. Yikes.

Sweaters, socks and coats are about it for me. Occasionally a short sleeve polo or a casual shirt, but that's about it.

Totally agree on the rust jacket, that is what I went in looking to find. The SA said it was so popular it is sold out in most sizes already.

As for the others, Madison fit is like a tent on me and I'm in between sizes in the Fitzgerald cut and not a fan of the thin lapels.

Uh...that's just a different shade of blue, is it not?
I am going after light grey.

Fitz fit me okay, except for the creasing where shoulders connect to my chest. Also, them narrow lapels are deal killers for me.

Speaking of narrow lapels, I was at Burberry and was shaking my head at their suits. A salesperson came up to me and asked if he could be of service. I told him I am looking for suits with normal size lapels. His response, while pointing to the suits with narrow lapels, was "these are classic traditional size lapels."

Ah, I was just going for patterns.

That said, I do like their outerwear and accessories, so it might be a good time to pick up a briefcase, duffle bag, beater boots, etc.

Noodles, are you still dreaming of a Prince of Wales check suit? NMWA are nearly giving away their Eidos suits today and tomorrow.

I'm getting a casual suit made in that fabric this year.

After black cap toe, black wingtips? Yea or nay?

Admittedly, the only fit I can think of using these for is with dark gray odd trousers, which I own and do with northern lights (sorry Stitch [IMG])

Edit: I should mention that I'm thinking of bluchers, not oxfords.

Prefer black monks here or brown oxfords.
