Hey some extra help on top of the suits (which btw I agree I am only really keen on keeping the 3 button black one):

What should I do with these trousers? Linen GH RTW. I think I have enough to get them cuffed, and I think I should get it very slightly shortened and also opening tightened? Thoughts?

Related: Those suede monktons are amazing, got them from pediwear and had them delivered to HK to dodge dat tax. Might just order a new pair of shoes everytime I go to Hong Kong so I have to bring less and get them cheaper + excuse for new shoes.

This thread has a life of its own. As long as we're done posting pictures of toilets and pipes, I'm good with it.

I most probably won't have kids for at least another 5 years, but I hope to have a son and pass on my love of clothing. My girlfriend has a nephew who is 2 and I've bought him SF approved children's clothes for his birthday and other random occasions :satisfied: My sister had her daughter 1.5 months ago, making me an uncle for the first time. I went shopping to buy her some clothes and I was so confused on what to buy her.

Ask Efv if he'll ask his gf for you. She dresses well!

My wife is a fashion designer and has a pretty strong opinion on how to dress our daughter. Whenever I dare to suggest a piece of clothing, two pairs of eyes are directed at me with a pitying look, saying "you really don't get it, do you?"

As long as you reciprocate said look if/when you are dressing your son, seems like a fair deal.

How much you think? An inch? Do you think I should tighten the opening?

Any of you CM guys dress more SW&D as the seasons change? I want a bunch of SW&D outerwear and I don't know why

    Nvm, yes I do. It's NMWA's and Epaulet's fault.

I just turned 28 when our little man arrived this march.
Life & priorities change, but every day is awesome.
Also @Claghorn, mixed babies are great:

Yeah, you and me both. I blame the same shops.

Little man is looking good, Timo.

Agree with both statements! And that's a lovely little boy you have there.

I do but I'm pretty basic and cheap when it comes to my SW&D. I have 2 or 3 good pairs of Levis, lots of t-shirts a handful of button downs and a few nicer sweaters and I'm golden.

Cute little guy, Timo. Look's like he's wearing a spread collar, but where's the collar sprezz?

For most of my life I was SW&D, then some years back started to veer slightly towards CM (not that I particularly needed to, I just began to appreciate it).

With NMWA I can feed both habits, having dipped initially into the CM well, and more recently getting back to my SW&D roots with some of their japanese hipster stuff, etc.

At my age street cred's hard to come by, but if you're comfortable with what you're wearing, chances are you can pull it off. On the other hand, some people are delusional and think that at 65 they can dress like they're 16 (and no one will notice the dyed black comb-over either).

Unless you're a rock star, or a notable downtown bohemian, you probably shouldn't do this as you will generally look like an aging asshat.
