Ah, I see what you mean. I believe this would've worked with a larger pattern and for the button holes to be gray.

@lordsuperb - Yeah, I can see that. I think a suit benefits from a smaller scale houndstooth while a sport coat probably benefits from a larger scale. I thought mine was bold at the time but it's sort of in no-man's land.

Sorry guys for all the headache and the nonstop whining. I'll put an end to publicly speaking about this. I will try to settle this in private.

So where should I get my next suit???

Try the Lazio too. It's cheaper.

    That is the Lazio! [IMG]

A lot pointed out that my shoulders look nimble in my current suits. So something that has a bit of padding. And obviously not too expensive. Then again, the Lazio looks like it too has that natural shoulder construction.

The Lazio is a bit more structured. Not much, but a little bit. The Washington is very structured.

Noodles. The most important thing is how it looks on you. There are a lot of things that might in theory be more flattering, but the execution needs to be there too. Not all natural shoulders look bad on you; not all padded ones look good.

That's not the lazio, I think Noodles said it's a La Spalla when he initially posted the picture. Nobody knows what the pants look like though, so start taking full pics if you want serious advise. There are other options besides half canvassed SuSu

That is the Lazio. I can't afford La Spalla.

Noodles, I love you, and I am not even NMWA customer, but you've been extremely silly.

Archie, trust me on the navy trews with grey hounds and herrings. Try it one time!

Getting pretty damn petty from both of them, to be honest. No way for a customer or a business head to behave.

@mimo, I can't justify buying navy trousers just for that. It may work, but so does the dark grey and I am already not wild about trousers that only get worn with one sport coat. Plus I am trying to consolidate and make things more versatile on average.

Gray houndstooth with navy, classic combo.
You can use the navy pants for pairing with sweaters. Good to have on hand.
