Also in need of a bit of GNA: I've read Manton's book and two of Flusser's—what other books would you guys recommend to continue my education?

A couple of co-workers and I have started a Three-piece Thursday, which caught on quite well.

    Only need one shirt though.
The $9k difference goes into antimicrobial sweat transmogrification funnels that wick organic agents away from the body and, using proprietary algorithms from Frederic Malle, transmit them in an outward projection of Carnal Flower.
Also, wine stains shoot off it. It's hydrophobic.
Also charges my iPhone by proximity rays.

    Thanks I am PayPal ready

Ask this guy, it was 14k though, so perhaps a bit above your budget? Maybe try the silver version.

Call me a romantic, but I like to think that for every vain gold tycoon who wants to commission a golden tunic and show it to the media, there is at least one -- one -- gold tycoon who is 50% as vain or 25% more shy and also commissions gold tunics but uses them in the privacy of his own home and wears GAP sweatshirts when going to buy milk.

There is also a possibility that he was hounded out of the WAYWRN thread at some point. He'd have been OK if he commissioned it through the London Lounge...

I just want to add, WAYWRN remains one of the most stupid acronyms on the internet. It's not even accurate.
Why didn't the forebears just think to call it Today's Outfit? Not arcane enough?

Moving on, what is the best source of pointed end black knit ties today? That actually maintains them in permanent stock?
I had to laugh when @Murlsquirl suggested buying knit ties made in China

LL would have been an even heavier weight cloth though, no?

Sozzi are some of the best. I don't care where The Knottery knits are made, they are a $35 wide pointed end tie that are pretty well made...good luck finding anything comparable. I don't even like knits all that much and don't wear them often, so they work for me.

Yes, I've got one of The Knottery's in brown. As Murl said, it can't be beat at the price.

Perhaps it can't be beat, period, as I can't think off the top of my head of any other (non-custom) pointed knits.

    Cheers,

    Ac

Kent Wang, but The Knottery's price is still better.

I take that back. I just remembered that No Man Walks Alone carries Sozzi pointed knits. About twice the price of The Knottery's, I believe.
