If only you could refer to the suit orphans thread for ideas. Anyone who is into reducing waste and saving the planet should be for saving suit orphans.

I actually waited three hours outside roses luxury on Valentine's Day in the blistering cold only to be disappointed by the food. Maybe I'm just jaded. Or my taste buds were frozen. The place was really well decorated though.

    Man up.

Navy trousers, a shirt with a pattern (small blue check?), textured tie in a warm colour e.g. rust grenadine, mustard knit, whatever, and some kind of foppish i-Gent touch or two - a novelty PS, a buttonhole flower, maybe both. Dark tan or brown shoes. Go on, try it.

Not with this jacket unfortunately. It is about the suitiest solid jacket possible.

I've no compunction breaking rules and I'm a good dresser by most standards. But this is too much.

I liked his gray orphan. It worked well. This is way more orphan-y that that though.

Boo. You should try it. Let us suggest things, post pics, see if anyone can make you work it. But I'm first. And I know you've got all that stuff.

No doubt, Murl. But I'm talking about suburban Maryland.

Suburban Maryland around Rockville has good Chinese food. The rest is primarily chain restaurants.

Come on, it's a great game! "Pimp Claghorn's Orphan". When something sounds as wrong as that, it has to be right.

I understand and sympathize with both Clags and mimo in this situation. I'm torn...

I thought the point of the wager is that it's going to look terrible? Claghorn was sure that Noodles would be happy with his mid-year review. I say go ahead and do it, just make sure that there's no photographic evidence of the outfit.

Oh shoot, sorry man. I just thought you were calling me a lunatic out of no where when I am just having the worst day of my life and when I barely know you.
    My apologies as well. [IMG]

C'mon dude. Noodles is me with absolutely zero filter. I just say everything that's on my mind. You really think Noodles and I are alike in real life? I really hope you don't think that.

But Noodles is one crazy dude.

Intending no disrespect, all I can say is that I'm deeply jealous. If that was the worst day of your life you've been quite extraordinarily lucky thus far.

    Consider this.

    Cheers,

I'll do it, but I'm copping out with my gray Howard Yount suit. It has brown windowpanes and patch pockets.

The only other gray one I have is:

Trust the force, Clags...wear the simple light grey (though in an ideal world, it has non-grey buttons). But it won't be as bad as you think.
