hadn't seen that bicycle shirt yet...probably going to have to get that since I love Gitman and I work in the bike industry.

Frances May in Portland got a small shipment of spring GBV in. They've got the bike shirt in short sleeve, not on their site yet. Anyone looking might want to give them a call.

Personally, I agree with what someone said a page or two back--they look like wheelchairs.

They also got the ikat plaid, a madras or two, the mexican blanket, another one or two. I picked up the ikat, wasn't particularly moved by anything else. I'm holding out for the stars.

I slept on buying the red chambray from Indigo & Cotton when it was on sale this week. New to the post-j.crew shirting life, so a few questions:

Does this shirt get re-released every year? Seems like a staple.

Can I expect this shirt to eventually go on sale elsewhere or should I just buck up and buy it retail? I'm a small.

    Thanks folks.

Yeah, the red chambray is a staple, at least according to the Gitman site:

This lightweight style categorized by its white weft and colored warp has been part of the Gitman line since 1978. Available in Gray, Blue, and Red.

I've found this typically means it's less likely to go on sale than season-specific styles but that's not a hard and fast rule, obviously.

Quickly shot these up for you guys to see our offerings. our favorites are the two last shirts; the textured linen is ultra handsome.

we have one more heavy linen shirt but it desperately needs a press from shipping
