Hmm... I think that might jst be a combination of porducman's saddle shell batch being a little darker than others, plus poot inside lighting? Mine & others I've checked are def lighter....here is 'un-instagramed' 'un-edited' photo via my iPhone taken outside the same day

Anyone else care to join Saddel shell PTB or Shortwing MTO? We currently have a winter promo code 'extra10' on our webstore and I'll make sure to honor it for MTO participants as well ;)

I hope everyone posts up pics of their saddle shell derbies - it's nice to see them in action.

Great to see all these awesome fits in! Steve, do the cordovan loafers also feature JR soles?

Yes they do. Just received mine and will post fit pictures in a few days. Feet are tired for being back at work and on my feet for 14 hours.

Ah, the detroit looks a little blobbly for me. Would go when we get a rain one going, since I love that chiseled shape.

Cognac Shell Longwing, Steve? Detroit? If it is Forest, I'll send you a paypal now! With all this saddle talk, anyone up for a saddle shell inca double monk?

    xpost from Carmina thread:

Got my Jodhpur boots today, beautiful boots all around and single Dainite is perfect. Not too sure about fit though, think I should have sized half down :

I think I'll probably be in for the Detroit PTBs if they're in cognac, preferably with double leather soles. If this happens, it will be my third Carmina shell MTO of the year...

I regret not getting in on the navy shell captoe boot. I hope that MTO will be revived soon.

The navy jodhpurs are beyond fantastic. That style can be a very tricky fit for me - I'm jealous.

Do you think these fit larger than the typical Rain lasted shoes? My Rain lasted single monks are noticeably looser fitting than my laced Rain lasted shoes, although it might have something to do with the difficulty to tighten the monk strap beyond the middle hole.

I should have my Jodhpurs tomorrow, so I guess I will see how it fits soon enough. Hopefully some Tacco insoles would do the trick if they fit large.
