I have noticed my last x3 GG shoes (all Arran boots) all have these track marks running parallel to most seams. I figured it was due to the sewing wheel while the upper was stitched. It is not something I have seen before on my GG shoes, and figured it was just a slight drop in production quality. No other new issues otherwise for me...

I thought it was a common phenomenon.

But after looking at other brands, it appears it's unique to G&G.

    I wasn't looking for faults.

I noticed them while putting in me shoe.
And really noticed while buffing my shoes.

At this point, I'm fairly turned off by G&G.

If that's the only reason, you shouldn't be. It's entirely cosmetic and depending on the leather (and how expeditiously the shoes are moved through the factory) it can happen at any time, any where.

No track marks, but they left what looks like surgery scars all over my pair today.

The first of my latest two pairs that landed, via Aram Hodikoglu at AH One Shoes (thank you, Aram!). Permit me to present Connaughts in Vintage Pine (I ordered this when it was still part of G&G's RTW line). I am happy with the versatile mid-brown color in real life, most pictures I've seen look light yellow-brown. This will well with blues, maybe mid-grays too!
I have just the ensemble for tomorrow :)
