Gemming is such a tired old debate. We need a more sophisticated discussion on something that doesn't enflame peoples, like Topys for instance.

This year's sale was mostly firsts with a small handful of rejects. The firsts didn't have any marks to indicate they were purchased in a sale.

I picked up a couple of seconds at last year's sample sale and they have a small 'S' written inside.

I've heard that gemming is actually better than no gemming.

Depends on who you listen to and what you want ...or is in your interest...to believe. Try here for a more objective, if not sophisticated, perspective.

(hope that helps you out, jubal)

    Very nice.

One of my biggest shoe regrets of last year.

Here's hoping the St James Kudu and Cedar makes up for it.

    Good luck.

Are you considering an MTO if the GMTO doesn't work?

Here's hoping it works, I know I missed out on the Kudu Isham and was kicking myself ever since. That is until the St. James GMTO came about.

Currently I am debating ordering Glencoe boot instead of Wells in Kudu. Kudu is indeed interesting material. I surprised how much G&G kudu is different than that of Carmina's Kudu.

I think those Glencoes are freaking outstanding.

I feel the same. My rotation is pretty rich with brown derby boots, but damn....
