I'm posting these pics of my adopted baby because I am finally thinking about breaking them in, 6 months after I received them :fu:

though i'm no oshinex or lukcha when it comes to glamorous photos, this baby is quite photogenic as you can see :D

hmmh, no. i do not hate chukkas, as i don't hate shoes in general.

but they are on the edge to be more hideous than the alden chukka. which is, imo, hard to beat.

actually, i met medtech in person, so i have a different picture.

none. in my book chukkas should not be worn by grown ups. it's a schoolboys attire, imo.

I am not fond of the Arran as a design, but saying what you said is a bit duh.

I wasn't expecting it, but I think the oxfords may be my fav from this batch.

St. James had some small tool marks which have shaved off bits of suede, plus there's some glue or miscellaneous stuff in the rear quarter broguing. Arran has some slight rippling of the leather across the vamp. All in all, fairly minor stuff - but at the same time these are issues which should have probably been noticed IMO.

Would some suede chukkas by StC change your mind? I have something from Phillip in 2-3 weeks.:nodding:

probably not. chukkas just don't do it for me... there was a vass floating around some time ago, that wasn't bad.

looking forward to phillip's delivery.
