I unexpectedly became a G&G owner last weekend when I went to the SF Barneys while on vacation and checked out the sale rack in the shoe department. They had one pair of Fairmonts left and it happened to be my size, so I tried it on. The fit was near perfect and the price seemed to be too good to pass up. The color and style of the Fairmont also filled a void in my rotation so I thought it was a no brainer. I'm not sure how many more G&Gs are in my future, as it's difficult for me to justify wearing shoes in this general price range, but I'm certainly very happy with this pair.

Well, I suppose. I'm more or less tapped out of space for more shoes, but then again I wasn't going buy any shoes on this trip to SF...:embar:
Yes, it's on the MH71 last.

Thank you! It's on the Deco last. Very, very chiseled last. I love wearing the shoes, but I fear they aren't my most comfortable pair. Six hours max for now and the feet start hurting haha. More time required to break them in perhaps.

I've got the suede Arran and St Tropez both in size 10.5 UK, that I'd love to trade for 10UK in the same or possibly other styles.

Same thing for me. Grosvenor still showed $826 for me, sent an email to Leffot and got price confirmation. Posted on here went back to purchase and they are gone-all in a matter of 5 minutes..
