I don't like those Barclays at all. Too many lines that look superfluous.

You're still a pimp though, frilly

Like the watch. Don't like the contrast stitching shoes.

Can't see the watch clearly. Patek 3970? Or a pretender?

    Looks like it's his 3970J.

    It's no pretender.

Hah - sorry for the bad watch pic with the shoes. Can't seem to get the phone to focus on both. mimo's guess is right - it was my 3970P yesterday. Although I am wearing the 3970J today with G&G Rothschild wingtips in vintage chestnut. Boom!

The guy who sold this one to me, after opening his trenchcoat one rainy afternoon in NYC, assured me that this was no pretender:

Although it does say, suspiciously, "CHINA MADE" in the back. Hmm.

Too sleek and dressy for my taste for chukka boots. Imagine wearing them hiking some easy trails...

I agree it is dressy. I got these on the wensum sole for rainy days and they will do fine in the city.
There are dressy chukkas and hiking chukkas :D. I think there is a place for both.

My feet prefer MH71 over TG73 for sure, though I still can't really tell them apart in photos, surprise how little change makes all the difference.

Do you wear any decent chukka for hiking? I mean the only chukka I would use for hiking is like clark desert boots...
