    those are waxes. no need to worry just wipe off the powders.

    do you have enough toe wiggle room in the gables? instep girth can be resolved by loosely tighten the laces and walkton is a wholecut faux adeilade so they will contour better than captoes.

    Walkton wholecut as in made of single piece of leather? Are you sure?

    MH71 works much better than TG73 for me, unfortunately you're not my size, otherwise I would definitely get the Fairmont and possibly Arran...

    give them at least 6 wears before deciding. they should soften up and be just right if they are just a bit snug now.

    Yeah, I think I can deal with how snug the Walktons are, but I don't think I can handle the Fairmont or Chelsea. Bummer. Really love those colors.

    For those who are worried about them being too snug--in my experience, G&Gs break in a pretty good deal. To the point where ones that were really snug are actually kind of loose now.
