I love these boots, but it sems that everyone of them is not closing well at the vamp. Those laces are too far apart, which takes away from the sartorial and elegent look of the boots, making them more casual than they should! I have yet to like any laced boots on. They look better off.

Thanks for the heads up. Had been looking for some trees in the aftermath of the Barneys madness and everyone I emailed was OOS. Picked up 2x mahogany trees for 240gbp shipped stateside ($390 - ouch).

Earlier today, I drove past a gentleman standing at the corner of "no food this Christmas" lane and "I just lost my job" drive. Behind him, sitting on the ground was his wife and an infant wrapped in a bundle.

Really nice! These pics does so much more justice to the shoes than Barneys crappy ones...no wonder they had to give them away :)

Just looked around for some pics of the Gable to ease the wait and i found this on AAAC ".....and if you're paying £500 for a near perfect shoe then £550 for a perfect shoe isn't going to be an issue."
This was in spring 2008, did G&G sell for 500 pounds back then and charged 25 pound as a MTO fee? If this is true there have been a slight raise :D

    Gorgeous!

    I'm glad I jumped on the Savoy's.

Windsor look much better than in the Barney's pictures.

I'm not sure if I should regret not getting them or not, I just feel that they weren't too different than the Gable's and Westbury's....
