Yeah, but the wait time probably has more to do with the volume of orders G&G gets than the workmanship. For example, last I checked, G&G bespoke is the same time frame for delivery, and a lot greater workmanship goes into those than the MTOs.

They look fine to me, but I'm no expert on toe taps. Why is that a lousy job?

Actually, there will be a G&G price increase from March 1st (about 5%). So if you guys are planning to order some MTO's I'd do it before then.

well, g&g offers different sole options and flushed toe taps to begin with. after all, malats are the cheapest and of the lowest quality available. they do not hold up well due to their thickness either. it's like a car bra, would you?

Talked to Marcus Davidsson today and he said he got the new prices today and there was a increase of 300 SEK. Will it be a second price increase from 1/3?

No, that's the increase he's talking about. There will hopefully be no more increases than this this year.

As mentioned in a previous post, I ordered the shoes MTO originally with Dainite soles for rain duty. They came with just the standard sole, so in an effort to avoid sending the shoes back to the factory, they offered to topy the shoes for me (I added the simple taps), and give me a 30% discount on my next pair of G&G -- a deal I jumped on. The taps are far less important than the topy for me. Thanks for your opinions though.

you're welcome. it's not solely about importance. it's also about quality. imo, these two factors shouldn't be sepperated. let us know, how these taps work...

Since English is apparently not your first language, I'll try once more: The taps are far less important to me than the topy. Therefore, the quality of the taps could be as poor as your English comprehension skills and that lack of performance means very little to me as long as the soles are staying relatively dry. Appreciate the feedback. Your schtick, though trite, is quite cute.
