Gentlemen, very excited for my first double monks and glad my decision to commission it from G&G was good.
I was torn between John Lobb and G&G but ultimately decided to go with G&G as I love the aesthetics/fit/finish of G&G more.
These are the MTO Oakham on the Square Deco last.
Vintage Cedar with Mink Suede (Single leather sole) and choose this combination so I can dress it up or down.

    Congratulations on these, they're gorgeous!

I'm jealous of you gentlemen who are able to wear monk straps without any foot pain. (Then again, my bank account is very happy...)

@tuj544 That's a good looking GG Isham, how are you finding the hatch grain leather?

I'll rephrase, do you like the hatch grain leather in comparison to a smooth calf leather?

Have anyone who owns the Tavistock experienced any problems with your pair? I tried to do the MTO from the website a week or so ago with no luck. I just bought a pair second hand today. A few hours later I received an email from G&G stating my MTO could not be offered due to a design issue, and that they are now redesigning for a launch soon.
