o/o; CP; Spoo: great, votes all round.

Anden, GMMcL, AAS: it's not that it's too complex, but that it's too discordant/bold. AAS - the tattersall waistcoat turned it from something I slightly dislike into something I really dislike. You keep putting more and more patterns and colours together as if it's a challenge (let's ignore the title of this thread :)). You're remembered for some shots when it really worked, but sometimes, even random combinations work. To be clear, I like seeing successful complex combinations.

    Butler:

Tchoy: looking at several of your photos, not just this suit - I prefer a minor break to no break, but some of your trousers look long. Does the jacket pattern line up across the chest when you shift your stance?

Why didn't I vote for In Stitches? Shoes/tie/pocket square. I was pushing it when I wore navy suede shoes (needed Dainite sole, but had no black shoes with one) with a PoW and navy turtleneck. Yours is even further down the line.

Why not the current favourite, Pingson? Really can't put a finger on it.

I had to go with Ping for Meryl Streep reasons, and 3piecesuitguy for the nice suit itself, and for doing the unexpected.

    Sorry my Swedish Friend...

In America, Meryl Streep is considered our finest actress. It seems every year she give an amazing performance and is always nominated for the Oscar award for Best Actress. Kind of like your fits....it seems you always need to be nominated.

Speak for yourself. It's not like the competition is usually deep. I can't stand the hook nosed old boiler, and since this is style forum she has to be one of the worst dressed multi millionaire public figures in the country. Almost as bad as Helena Bonham Carter.

My preference is the same having a slight break, I lost some weight recently the trousers have a tendency to slipped down by the end of the day. The checks on the jacket do line up perfectly it was just the way I was standing.

Some great fits this week. Makes me wish I had a POW suit or jacket. Particularly liked AAS, Pingson, stitchy (may just be that suit) and Butler.

Given what you've said happens in the crotch area thanks to this particular fabric maybe people voted for your strategically positioned tie?

I kind of like the deja vu or similarly named idea that's appeared a few times (wear a distinctive suit or jacket twice in one week).

Lot's of great entries. I'm just happy I beat Bill Russell (so far).

Some possible suggestions for a future:

    1) Patterned trousers
    2) Wear something vintage
    3) I like the "break an SF rule" challenge - something like navy pants or grey jackets maybe.
