I remember like about 10 years ago, AEK had beaten Real Madrid. I think it was a CL match don't remember. The next day, a bunch of my friends abandoned PAO and Olympiakos and started rooting for them

I must admit my footballing ignorance here. I only know Olympiakos and PAOK via the FIFA franchise. :shame:

Wow that was almost 40 years ago! I hope you got over it
When I was in England I went with my brother and father to the England-Greece 2002 WC qualifier at Old Trafford. Greece was already eliminated and all England needed was a tie in order to qualify. We got tickets from an uncle in the Greek section that was half empty and most of the tickets were sold to England fans. This was Rehaggal's 2nd game as coach and first real game choosing the line-up so no Greeks really expected anything or even cared. I was 14 at the time and it was so cool taking the train to Manchester and feeling the energy immediately once we got out of the station and jumping past everyone in the taxi queue just in time to walk into the stadium for the national anthems.
What a game! The stadium really is fantastic and even though the refs were trying to give England the game and were calling fouls like crazy at the end, it really was incredible to see 70,000 people simultaneously explode into pure joy. I will never forget it.
