Being in this price range I tend to agree the Lewin shirts just feel nicer than CT. And during their regular sales they're roughly equivalent in price. But I still get sucked in whenever CT does the shirts starting at $40 sale + free tie when you spend $40 sale. With shipping from the UK $50 for a shirt, brass collarstays, and a tie? Deal.

Coincidentally, I just converted a Borrelli cotton/linen FC to a regular cuff. For those who didn't know, it's actually easy for a tailor to do (about $10 for mine). Also, if the sleeves are a little short, they can use the extra cuff material to get a bit more length (granted, only in the cuff, which could look funny if you went for too much).

Great thread! I haven't read through it all yet, so I hope these are not reposts.

^ each to his own I suppose.....Not a fan of all those little contrasts on the buttons, collars and the cuffs.. Stenstrøms make a nice shirt fit and qualitywise, but all those "stylish" details make them unsuitable for office wear in my humble opinion...

Stenströms used to make a decent shirt, I had about 5 some 20 years ago. Sadly, all I'm seeing from them now are those aberrations

That is the norm, but I'm not sure it's a rule.

I thought it went without saying that you should exclude the ones that you should be ashamed to have purchased.

I thought this thread was for folded up shirts, but when I called out a shirt on a hanger, I was struck down that hanging shirts were okay. I don't know why we even have rules anymore.

Yeah yoox. The cut is slightly generous so I like it.
