guys i need help... how can you tell if a pair of lanvin sneakers are fake???? my gf bought me a pair on ebay and i think she was cheated... i want to be able to verify if they are real or not so i can open a case with ebay about here purchase.. i'll try to post pics when i get back home..

they are a pair of the black suede and patent ones. i tried comparing with a pair of calf skin leather ones that i bought myself and it seems fishy...

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! thanks!

Please if you are quoting a post with a ton of pictures in it, put the pics in a spoiler.

A couple of those Lanvins are pretty nice, but I don't think I could pay retail for them. Don't know if they would see much wear, I think I have seen too many Lanvins styled with suits...

Not sure how I feel about the shin guards, but they work really well in those two looks

Not sneakers, but in spite of myself I find myself liking these creeper-sole derbies:

I haven't seen them in person, I was at the Margiela store in NYC a few weeks ago, but they didn't have these zigzag velcro high-tops in stock at the time. To be honest, I don't think I would have bought them (too expensive for me at the moment) but I do appreciate the design.

On a baller-sneaker related note, the shopkeeper told me that earlier in the week someone had come in and offered his co-worker $1000 and tried to buy his Margiela chain high-tops right off his feet. I really enjoyed those when they came out, another cool and novel design.

Have you seen these in person? Are they more blueish or Grey?

Sure. If you cannot find them I would check out LN-CC and Matches. They don't mark up Balenciaga like most other retailers and usually carry most of the colors available. Also, it might be worth checking with your Balenciaga store to find out if they decided to mark down their summer trainers.

Maybe not fully baller at retail, but they will no doubt be more than 300 on ebay an hour after they drop. does anyone know if there is an online release or if it is strictly a B&M/camping affair?[IMG]

Come on, those are about one inch. Maybe 1.25". Ugly, to be sure, but fairly standard stuff at this point.

YSL, for a mere $1975, will add 2.5 inches to your willyheight.

RFX, where were those pictures taken? Best Lanvin I've seen in a long time. Kinda want the red/black, all black, and snakeskin ones.

They did. But he was violated by the neighbor German Shepard so we didn't expect much.

Max 1.5". Think Tom Ford height adjustment. I get a diabetic vibe from them, though. I like how this dude is trying to drop "whom" but fails.
