Have three pair of Lucchese Boots here. One is Ostrich, one in Elephant (Black) and the Cognac is cowhide. The ankles are cowhide on two pair. The Ostrich is full Ostrich uppers and ankles.

These are in their original boxes. I purchased them in 1990! As close to as made the old way as you are going to get now. Wore each pair a few times....Between 3-5 times each pair. I have added shots of the soles. So you can judge that wear yourself. These today would be about $1,200 a pair for the exotics...maybe $600 for the Cognac cowhide upper pair. I am looking for somebody really into these things to take all three pair for $300.00 total plus shipping using Paypal for payment. One of the boxes has the original Lucchese warranty and care instructions in the box. The protective tissue is in there and the ankle spacers are also still in the boots and all three have their Lucchese boot trees that were purchased with them.

The craftsmanship here is old style craftsmanship. Company has gone through several ownership changes and they simply don't make them this way any longer. When you get them look at how the heel meets the upper and you well see what I mean. Current boots are still great for what you can get in western wear today. But when I bought these, they were Italian shoe craftsmanship executed on western style boots which is why they were so sought after. They still are but these would be a real addition to any western wear collection...wearable history.
