Just got my black calf Greeleys (or as I call them, the Orwells). Mike really nailed the design with Carmina. Photos later if I get a chance. :slayer:

We unfortunately can't offer extra Carmina laces beyond replacing a few untimely cases of broken laces-- but waxed brown laces should be available. I'll do some digging and figure out whose laces are the closed approximation for Carmina's stock laces that I can.

Some news-- we'll be rolling out some new MTO styles in the next couple of weeks. Chocolate hatchgrain chukka is confirmed as an MTO offering for the Fall! Loden green shell is also definitely something we can do and will look totally off-the-wall bonkers amazing.

    Keep the ideas comin'!

Just had the chance to wear my Lama PCTs around for a bit and they are amazingly light and comfortable. Beautiful boots. I'll second Mr. Six's thoughts on the Greeley design. Reign in Blood :slayer: [IMG]

Green shell is fantastic. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the MTO that shakes out of all this.

I just tried mine on for the first time today. These are honestly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life. Take that with a grain of salt as I'm new to the world of high(er) end shoes, but I'm thrilled with how these turned out. Whoever it was that described them as "chestnut" in color was dead on. Wearing these makes me mad I didn't pull the trigger on the grey brogues Mike and Co. were selling a ways back, as I'm pretty sure they used the same leather on those.

With Dainite sole? If so, I'm most likely in (depending on the last).

It's great that a lot of guys are happy about that chukka finally getting rolled out, but I might have to throw a tantrum if we don't get a chelsea or jodhpur in that same leather.

You know, if I can't get a chukka with Dainite soles, I could go for a chelsea boot instead. I'm not a big fan of jodhpur boots because I find wrapping and buckling the straps a PITA.

My primary need right now is 2 pairs of boots, one casual and one dressy, to wear in rain and slush, but I'm also looking for dressy brown chelsea boots.

I don't own any jodhpurs yet, but do the buckles have to be undone each time, or are they attached with elastic like the upper buckles on Carmina's double monks?

And if I were you, I'd go for a bal boot to fill that dressy boot need. Dainite sole and you're good to go.

I would love a pair of nice, dressy Chelsea boots. Ruby shell on something narrow?
