EPLA Japanese Indigo French Terry Crewnecks and Hoodies

After long last, our new knits have arrived! Most of you guys probably got the newsletter, but if not, here's our spiel:

For our newest Epaulet Los Angeles knits, we've used a gorgeous medium-weight french terry yarn. The neutral-colored yarn is soaked in plant-based Japanese Indigo dye until it achieves the very dark Tetsu Kon (Iron Blue) tone. From here, we either rinse-washed it to keep it dark or ran it through additional enzyme finishes to create a light Kame Nozoki (Looking Into the Vase) tone. Either way, you'll have a supremely comfortable garment with a very special look. Both crewnecks and zip-front hoodies are available:

So, the dark indigo pieces will fade with wear. The light ones are pretty faded already and will stay around that tone. The weight on these is great for temperatures right now. I wouldn't call them "summer weight," but they're on the lighter side. Very comfortable to wear now, but still very wearable as a layering piece when it's colder.

For those familiar with the Vass F last, how much difference is there between size 43.5 and 44? I would usually go for 43.5, but the shoe I am considering is only available in 44. Is there a huge difference?

    Thanks!

Sale section. Samuelsohn windowpane SC. $805. Multiple sizes.

    Do it.

Seriously, I've handled the fabric and it lives up to the hype. Sammy is a great deal full price and practically criminal at this price. I'm 100% tapped out for the season, otherwise it would be on the way here.

Agreed! I have a West is Dead indigo hoodie similar to the darker one so all over the faded.

Would love the faded, probably XL will be a bit too small though.

Can't wait to get the EPLA ocbd in XXL. And an olive Doyle in 44L, if that ever happens.

Not these. Our two stock runs from Fall were both dramatically short-shipped with trees. We only received about 1 set of trees for every 5 pairs.

We've got a really limited amount of VASS shoe trees, and most pairs don't have them included. The best that I can offer is that after the stock is sold through, we can put up the trees for cost and you might be able to get a matching pair. Sorry guys, just don't want to over-promise anything.

My bad. Thanks so much for clarifying. I guess I am more fortunate than I knew because my pair did happen to have them

You are telling me to by it, but you didn't tell me if that's the correct assessment for you guys.

    Barrie 8.5D = 42 F-Last and 42 New Peter Last = 42 3636 Last

Hard to say with 100% certainty. I am 8D Barrie and the 41 ultimately fit me a bit better than 41.5 on New Peter. The 41 is snug across the instep but the heel is way better. I expect them to open up after a few wears. I love the fit and finish of the VASS captoes I got, really psyched with them
