Haha, sorry, didn't mean you; just saying saying that either NESC or Gitman had to be off if the two were interchangeable, although Mike cleared that up quite nicely.

Gitman FF stuff sounds like it has potential to be pretty awesome.

Oh hey! That came in? Let me know when/where I can pick it up.

Also that's navy blue/white, right? That's what the swatch said and what it looks like on my monitor.

And last, re the EPLA washed oxfords, it's pretty amazing to see a quality, made-in-the-USA shirt of Japanese oxford for under $100.

Yes! It makes it that more psychologically difficult to practice restraint.

Is there any update to the Vass pre-order from last October? I think the original estimate was something like 2-5 months. We're right around 3 right now, are these still on track to make it here within the next 2 months?

Can you run down some of the differences between these? What differentiates the #1 EPNY from the #3 EPLA oxford, other than the wash? Wondering where the 30% reduction in price comes from.

Similarly, what details differentiate #2 Gitman from #1 NE shirts? Obviously EP considers them to be worth the higher cost. Is it solely the fabric? Some specific construction/process/QC improvements?

IME: My shirts are about 60% NE (old Ep) and 40% Gitman (Ashland or GBV), and the Gitman shirts seem to always have much nicer fabrics and superior construction. In particular, Gitman collars are amazing, and their shoulder is constructed in such a way that the rest of the shirt doesn't move as much/at all when I move my arm. It's enough to make me want to replace all of my shirts with Gitman shirts.

    Thanks -- will do.

Any other jeans in the pipeline? Looking to make a purchase in the spring. The current EPLA fit looks a bit looser than the walt cut in the pics, is that right or just an optical illusion?

Quick question - is it normal to see some separation at the point where the coin pocket and waistband come together on the rivet chinos? These just came in the mail, and one side of the coin pocket is ever-so-slightly detached.

On the fence to keep the Barena Knit Sportcoat Charcoal I picked up during the sale. It's a bit tight in the arms and waist. Was anyone looking for it in EU48/US38?

Depending on how tight, I actually found that mine has gotten a little roomier with wear, at least in the arms. If you can't move it, it might work out for you.

The arms have loosened up but I'm just not used to the fact it's more like a sweater than a sport coat. The waist is more of a concern as it just fits.

Just checked mine since I'm wearing. I don't have that issue and this pair is worn a lot. It's from their first run since switching to horn buttons.

I'm beating the hell out of them. Literally wearing EVERY SINGLE DAY, all day. The back pocket where I keep my massive otterboxed iPhone is tearing off...surprised my 8th graders haven't broken my balls about it yet.

Illusion. The cut is very similar to the Rivet, and is actually a touch slimmer in the thigh than Rivets, and already a smaller leg opening--so def slimmer overall than Walts. This is assuming a same/same size comparison.

I think some people sized up.

^Thanks! Walt's are perfectly tight as is... maybe I'll hold out for a walt cut denim then!

If you can wear Walts comfortably then the Wilshire jean should work pretty well for you, depending on how you like your denim to fit. The Fairfax fit is going to be more for guys who can't fit into the Walt and can only wear the Rudy cut, so that might be a little big for you.

^ Agreed with @Beatlegeuse. My Walt 32s are perfect in the waist and a bit loose in the thighs, and I can take a Wilshire 31 for a very slim fit. If, like you @tigerpac, my Walts fit less loose, I'd think my regular Walt size or one up would work perfectly. You can also take your rivet chino size if that's different from your Walt size.
