Epaulet Cutaway Oxford -- Too Dressy? Untucked?

I realized that I wear oxfords approximately 50% of the time (they're my beaters -- what I wear if I'm not going to really be doing anything -- and also my pajamas), so I decided I might as well buy some of the best. I looked around and almost bought some Thom Brownes and Black Fleeces, but they seemed a little boring -- so I settled on the Epaulet cutaway dress shirt, because the description claims that they can be worn casually and untucked.

Is this true? I'd only use them to throw on before class if I overslept or on lazy weekday afternoons. Will the Epaulet oxfords serve this purpose, or does the material have the typical dressy sheen or do they look unnatural untucked? The description also says that the cloth is lighter than the typical oxford -- is it still hefty enough to clearly be oxford?

I'm 5'10 and don't need BoO-length, but I don't want anything approaching the tails of a normal dress shirt. I won't be in NY for a while and want to avoid returning them if possible.

I don't really care about price, so if there is a better (but equally interesting -- I like the idea of a cutaway collar on otherwise boring material) oxford, feel free to recommend.
