Yeah Roger, Vass 43F were wide and long.
I have another pair 42,5F that I am still deciding if I should sell them or not - only bad luck these days.
    however I am 8.5 in
    EG: 82, 606
    Carmina Forest, Robert and Uetam
C&J 348 and others as well

So I assume that I would be 8,5 in Bonafe as well.

But well, lets see those pics when they arrive.

    :)

Quote:I'd be interested in hearing how it compares to a Rain and Soller-lasted Chukka from Carmina. I am guessing it migth split the difference between those two.

Fits similar to the 202 last (in E width) in the forefoot but has a roomier instep.

Just wanted to post this again, I've updated it with a few more lasts. Because Bonafé is still a new discovery for many members, I want to post as much info as possible. Hope you don't mind. Please note that these are my personal observations and preferences. We always recommend an in store fitting (of course) and if you are not able to visit our store please e-mail us and we will advise you based on your experience with other brands and lasts.

    Carmina
Carmina Rain: UK 11 - very good fit, the best of all the Carmina lasts for me
Carmina Soller: UK 11 - slight heel slippage
    Carmina Detroit: UK 11
    Carmina Inca: UK 11.5
Carmina Forest: UK 11.5 - good fit although the instep could be a little roomier for a great fit
Carmina Simpson: Could probably squeeze into a UK 11.5 or UK 12 but in all honesty, not a good last for me, I avoid it because of my wide-ish feet and high instep

    Edward Green
    184 - UK 11.5 E
    202 - UK 11.5 F bordering on E
    606 - UK 11.5 F bordering on E
82 - UK 11.5 F - great fit for me, best of all EG lasts
    888 - UK 11.5 F

    Gaziano & Girling
    KN14 - UK 11.5 F
MH71 - UK 11.5 F - my favorite G&G last both style wise and in fit
    GG06 - UK 11.5 F
    DG70- UK 11.5 F
TG73 - UK 12 F - not an optimal fit for me personally

    Enzo Bonafé
Enzo Bonafé 74945: UK 11.5 (fits me similar to Forest but with some more room over the instep)
Enzo Bonafé 363: UK 11.5 (heel slippage, not an optimal last for me)
Enzo Bonafé 363MOD: UK 11.5 (better than the normal 363 last but still some minor heel slippage, although no heel slippage if it's a high boot like a button boot or a bal boot9
    Enzo Bonafé 2102B: UK 11
    Enzo Bonafé 946: UK 11
Enzo Bonafé 804: have not been fitted - please e-mail us and we'll advise in comparison to your other brands/lasts you are familiar width

    @RogerP

There's also this list, by another from the Skoak team:

    Carmina
    Rain: UK 8
    Forest: UK 8
    Oscar: UK 8
    Robert: UK 8
    Simpson: UK 8.5
    Uetam: UK 8.5
    Detroit: UK 7.5
    Soller: UK 7.5
    Queens: UK 8

    Enzo Bonafé
    946: UK 8
    363: UK 8
    363 MOD: UK 8
    804: UK 8
    2102b: UK 8

    Edward Green
    202: UK 8 E
    82: UK 8 F
    184: UK 8 E
    888: UK 8 F
    606: UK 8 E

    Gaziano & Girling
    TG73: UK 8 F
    MH71: UK 8 F
    DG70: UK 8 F
    GG06: UK 8 F

Note that the difference in sizing adjustments is likely due to different foot shape (instep, width).

Yes, thanks. Patrick's description of how the various lasts fit really add a dimension to the understanding of how they might fit someone else.

Agreed. Immensely helpful for me consider I have a similarly shaped foot (albeit it about half the length...)
