Gary - What can we find in the Dolphin Print this season, and what fabrics will the BDU Shirt be offered in?

    ----

    Other thoughts:

According to the "Product Analysis for Spring 2016" from Nepenthes in Print vol 3, for SS16 the Ghurka short is a bit shorter in order to work paired with a jacket better, and features a drawstring waist for more casual wear. The Dolphin Print fabric is old deadstock fabric Daiki found here in the US.

Also is a quick writeup on the Bedford Jacket and Bucket Hat - interestingly, the Bedford now features sewn on buttons rather than changeable ones.

Some new drops on Nepenthes JP online store. Of note is the "Jacquard Pattern Block" Baker - take a look at that fabric. From the lookbook I would have thought it was just a standard cotton plaid, but there's some really neat detail in it.

No prob @nickp! Looking forward to how you work that dolphin print into your fits. You've been doing some killer stuff lately with layering F/W.

Any ideas how this seasons shop coats fit? obviously shorter, but the measurements I've seen shown them quite a bit narrower in the chest than last SS (where I ended up sizing down).

Also, anyone know if the chester is being done in olive? Looks great in khaki in indigo&cotton's fit, would be even better in olive IMO.

I'd also appreciate any update on what fabrics we can expect the chester in. I've seen the grey PC plaid, navy and now khaki calvary twill.

Chester looking good. I prefer it to the Shop Coat for sure.

The Loiter Jacket seems to be a staple item for this year. Looks like it's got short sleeves and body - think those SS14 Baker Jackets or the Knit Leisure Jacket from this year, but with dropped shoulders and a relaxed, wide body. The machine translation of the description on the Nepenthes JP shop explains it as having simple construction/tailoring like a shirt. Must explain the surprisingly affordable prices on these.

Very cool Baker @Sieglinde - the diagonal Batik Stripe, Dolphin Print, and Jacquard Pattern Block ones are also all fun blue shaded Baker jackets. Wish there was a bit more diversity in color scheme for this season though besides the one-off khaki and olive pieces which I'll definitely be hunting down.

Steven Alan also has some new drops. I grabbed the Baker Jacket in Lt. Weight Navy High Count Twill.

The measurements on this thing seem all over the place. Oi Polloi says it runs small—47cm P2P on size small (which is more like an XS). Nepenthes Japan lists a small as 50cm P2P.

So, I ordered a small and medium and will report back.
