I agree to that, 82 is the best last I've ever seen altgouh I am standing now on a 606 Dover (which I find also nice).

Oh I know. That was in response to the Meermin that Baked Potato posted the link to. He was asking for the closest EG last to that shape.

Does anyone know what's the deal about the Malvern on the 888? I've seen it around, but it looks like EG now only offers it on 82 and 202 now
Such a shame, cause I think it looks dead sexy on the 888, especially in tan like edwardian, hazel etc...

MTO 2 route is the way to go in that case. A lot of styles would look good on 888 IMO. :)

Ah, I see - and thanks for an extremely snappy reply! :D

How about the MTO2-route; is it also possible to eliminate if 6 persons get together?

Any idea what last it looks like? Looks like the 606 but MrP's sales rep has no idea what I'm asking.

Does anyone know of any way to request or buy swatches from EG? I would like to see some suede, as well as some crust leather swatches in person before i order. Not sure if that is possible...

Has all the markings of the 606. Just ask someone at Porter to look inside the shoe (or on box) and read you the number.

The 82 is currently used for roughly a dozen stock models. Check out their catolog on ISSUU.

Nice! Does the CC leather develop much of a patina over time compared to the usual type of leather?

This would be a great casual shoe for rainy days and EG shoes with Dainite soles are rare. If I didn't already own a special-order Dover (Edwardian antique) with a York(?) sole, a burgundy pebble grain blucher with Dainite soles from AS/Brooks Brothers, and a Sutor Mantellassi split toe blucher in the equivalent of dark oak, I would jump on this. In fact, if I could sell all three pairs and raise enough money to buy these, I'd consolidate!
