is it possible to order the Galway without additional burnishing? I like it very much on the toe but not so much on the heel

Just strip the burnishing off, if you don't like it; it's easy enough to do.
But to answer your question, I have been able to specify the levels and areas of burnishing in the past.

I thin kit can be done with individual MTO but not with the GMTO unless the all members agree to makeup without burnishing.

EG's overall best color is probably dark oak.

I have both boots you mention, except my dark oak Galway has a mink suede shaft. If I could only keep one, I would keep the Galway in Bronze.

OK guys, here they are. Rosewood CC Galway, F64, Ridgeway sole, Veldtschoen. The fit really, really well and the color is spectacular. Enjoy!

Beautiful boots congratulations, enjoy. Are these from Westley Richards ?

After a while the burnishing does fade off.
    Use some neutral polish

Dark oak Galways are a dime a dozen compared to Bronze. Galways, due to their ability to mix two materials, are best made up to be unique. Doak is the best EG color, don't get me wrong, but I already have 5 pairs in that color...

This is hilarious. I suppose dark oak is inferior to bronze, once you have several pairs of dark oak. Funny. very funny.
