Thanks Steven, yes I bought the Russian Gladstone from LS, hope to take some pics and post them this weekend with the briefcase.

These arrived today from England.... EG Dover's in bronze calf and mushroom suede......



These are nice. While I have more dark oak models than bronze antique models, I really like bronze, perhaps just as much .....

I have the Galway in Bronze and highly recommend them.

I will likely sit tight for now with boots (save for my existing Carmina MTO) but will give the bronze option some thought for the fall. Come to think of it, a Nevis in burnished bronze would also rock pretty hard.

Agreed. As an aside, in my experience the Nevis fits slightly wider and slightly longer than its Dover shoe counterpart in the same size and on the same last.
