Lots of confrontations with partners due to shoes lately. DocAlden also had concerns. :)

Thanks everyone. I was a little concerned about sizing and fit, but the 82 last is perfect (tagged 9.5/10E & I'm US 10D TTS). Similar feel to an AE 5 last with a more elegant toe.

Any of these have dainite soles? Living in the midwest winter is brutal, and I think it's silly not to get dainties'. Awesome color combo's.

The Alderlay's do, and the Shannon's do not. Not sure about their Galway offerings.

I really like those Alderley boots! They are perfect with the Dainite sole.

Quick sizing question everyone - I'm a 9.5C in Allen Edmonds, any ideas on what I may be in EG generally?

agree with RogerP here. the pics i have seen of slate are quite dark, almost black. could be different in person, however

Okay, thanks. Was thinking about the beaulieu in slate. Keeps it dressy, but still fun and sexy.
