Just picked up my very first pair of new EG Dovers on the 606 last from Leffot. I am very happy with how they fit and love the color as well.

Did you specifically ask to omit the thistle detail on the side, or they just did not do it bc of the cordovan?

I have seen the sandringham with the thistle broguing on the side when done in calf, but most of the suede RTW ones dont have it. Was not sure if this is bc of technical or stylistic reasons

It appears to be their standard now. Guess someone figured there's too much going on already with the brogue ..

The prices of RLPL clothes in general have in my estimation gone up on average by 25-30% within the last two years. The majority of my shirts are from RLPL. Two years ago their shirts were priced between around 295 and 345 euro, nowadays they are priced between 395 and 495 euro. Cardigans etc. are priced at around 1000 euro. I really love their stuff, the have great designs, fit me perfectly of the rack and the quality is excellent. But I don’t think I will ever warm up to their new pricing, even with discounts I find their gear too friggin expensive. Buying anything form them at retail is now just completely out of the question for me and the amount of purchases I make from them is at an all-time low.
