Reminds me a lot of The Raid.

And if it's anything like it, it'll be a damn good movie. I think the slow-motion works well.

PS - Great song choice for the trailer.

Let's not kid ourselves...this looks pretty bad. But hopefully it's a good kind of bad so even if we don't get The Terminator, we can at least have Robocop instead of, God forbid, Judge Dredd.

I understand remaking good movies after 30-40 years, but it's getting to the point here where Hollywood is starting to look really desperate with stuff like this coming out, a new Spiderman after only a decade, etc.

It's based on a famous graphic novel series. They are not remaking the old movie, so much as trying to do a better adaption of the source material.

I felt like I just watched the entire movie. But it might be kind of cool to see in 3D.

I don't get the attraction of 3D, especially for lame action movies. It's just one more dimension to be disappointed by.

I'm not a fan of 3D either. Saw Avengers the first time that way and much preferred my 2nd viewing that was not in 3D.

3D for action is very disorienting and rarely done well. It looks awful when they have quick shots and something close to you pops onscreen. I think there is a short delay when your eyes have to adjust, so with lots of action, it gets hard to follow. So far the only 3D action movie's I've seen that I think did it right were Tron and Prometheus.

This movie might not do so poorly since there is a lot of bullet time.

Finally watched the trailer and don't know what to think. Seems an odd story-line to reintroduce America to the character. I don't get any hints of this being an origin story. Usually I am happy about that, but I wonder if people will get it considering it's been so long since the last movie and the comic character was never that popular in the USA.
