    Hey guys,

I've been on a hunt for a "Coral Pink" tie to match my fiancé at our engagement party. I don't want to wear a full pink tie because its to loud and even the idea of matching bothers me—but compromising to make her happy.

Well I was able to find this tie from Huge Boss and picked it up, but now im having concerns if the grey tie with grey suit, looks like I'm trying to match my suit. I made sure to get a lighter grey for contrast.

    What do you guys think?

If not, any idea what style, pattern etc and where would be a good place to pick up a tie?

the event is on the 19th of May.

    Thank you guys in advance!:slayer:

Sidenote: I got the suit from Suit Supply in New York....Whoa best customer experience I've ever had!

I think it looks just fine. Large stripes on the tie contrast the texture of the suit and the gray is different enough. Not a bad look IMO

It looks fine. The wide stripe on the tie is a nice contrast to the really narrow stripe on the suit.

    What stripe on the suit?

    Unless I missed the joke?

Personally, I think it's ok.. just ok.

Disclaimer: I have no sense of style.

The coat clearly has very fine stripes.

The tie is a little bit ugly but if 'coral pink' is compulsory then the overall look is okay.

No. Burn the tie, the only decent future for it.

Matching is silly. You should try to find a way out of it.

What do you guys think of this tie with that grey suit?

it seems to have hints of the pink in the tie...It does have the brands logo, but i've always liked their logo...

    any comments?

ahh thats a great tie, but a bit wide.

Do you guys think navy blue would work?

I saw several of the navy/pink ties there; the only issue I see is super dark navy with super dark charcoal isn't my favorite. I think I might like it better if worn with a solid light blue shirt. However, 3.25in isn't that wide, but you'd probably have to look at it in person.

Also, not sure how wide Paul Stuart's Phineas Cole ties are, but some of them might work:

That first one may not be "pink" enough, but it's got the mixture with light grey.

The second has some very dark pinks, almost purples and in this case I think the overall look may actually be better with charcoal than navy.
