I have often wondered if men bought rings for their pinky finger or did their fingers get fat and it ended up there. Whats the thought here.

I wear a stainless steel pinky ring because I'm a Canadian Engineer. That's how we distinguish members of the tribe.

I hardly ever wear it. It's a gold family ring, a tradition for several hundred years. It always hurts my pinky when someone shakes my hand, plus all my watches are stainless steel, so it gets very little use.

I have a friend, very very waspy, who went to some good old schools (prep and ivy) who wears one of his undergraduate school creast in gold. I like the look, but I don't think that I would do it myself.

Maybe you should post pictures of pinky rings that looks good.
I ussually don't like to wear rings: just my wedding ring (which I do like).

I'm of the "only wedding band" mind when it comes to rings. Unless I win the Super Bowl, somehow.

For some odd reason I wouldn't have thought engineering your field. Goes to show you never can tell.

You could also reconize them to their complexed guys behaviour and their ridiculious clothes.

it would avoid you to be tacky...

    2 rings for a gentleman =

    - wedding
    - of your family if you are member of nobility

    Anything else = tacky

I wore a class ring when I was in high school. In the 9 or so years since I have been done with high school it has become a key fob.

You're right, of course. How do you tell if a guy is an unemployed Frenchman? Oh, right, he lives with his mother.

You reconize him because of his American friend, often dressed like a farmer, with many rings, brown loafer, yellow socks, a checked light brown jaket, beige slaks (too loose for his buttocks.), a checked shirt, a dotted red tie and yellow gold sport watch.

I wear a ring on my right hand, it is a diamond. I like them but many people have a variety of opinions on them. You need to do what you feel most comfortable with. [IMG]

I once wore a ring on my pinky but it belonged to a girl I was seeing at the time. After we broke up I gave it back.
