Well, Good news and bad news, LK.

I do have the vintage Brioni suit, but it's bigger than I thought, and probably wouldn't fit you..

It's marked a size 52/42, but I'd say it's closest to an American size 40.

Note that I'm wearing the suit in the last picture. I've lost a lot of weight[IMG] The suit is a 2 button with a single vent and patch pockets. Flat front pants too. Really kind of cool, though I'm afraid it would be too big on you.

Rnoldh, That's a shame as vintage Brioni appears to be somewhat more difficult to come by. I can't quite see the last picture clearly, but I suspect that suit would fit you well. The fabric reminds me of a Domenico Spano suit I own. Here's a crazy vintage Brioni: [IMG] [IMG]

Vintage Brioni is a trip, esp from the 70s.

Here is a post with two of mine -- one with narrow lapels and one with wide ones. Both are a eu 50 us 40, and for me me me.

I remember there was an Italian ebay seller who was selling off NOS Brioni. Amongst the things was a pair of crazy pink leather go-go boots, for a man apparently.

I think the color is ok but I guess I don't like the design much. But I'm happy for you you like your new Brioni

I'm not familiar with hat terminology, but the felt is napped like cashmere. Very obviously high-quality. [IMG]
