bought a dunhill black leather belt at the duty free shop
now need to get it cut to size

i'm thinking it's best to cut it so that i have one hole left over when buckled snugly ...

I've always assumed that belts should be buckled to the middle hole.

    good thing i asked then...
most of my belts buckle at the last or 2nd to last hole ... which is partly due to losing a bunch of weight and losing about 2 inches off my waist line

Always centre hole here. For that reason belts (and any other strap) should have an odd number of holes

Don't think I've ever seen a belt with only 4 holes
